After Marvel Studios fired the original creative team from ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, they have hired new members from past series.

Dario Scardapane, the writer and executive producer on Netflix’s ‘The Punisher’ will now be the showrunner after previous head writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman exited the series.

Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead whose previous credits include ‘Moon Knight’ and ‘Loki’ season two will direct the first season of ‘Born Again’

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ received a creative overhaul amid the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Parts of what was already shot will be incorporated into the series, but there will be a new direction.

Kevin Feige announced that ‘Born Again’ will have 18 episodes, but it’s unknown how many of those 18 will make up season one.

‘Born Again’ won’t continue the story from the Netflix series, but stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise their roles as superhero Matt Murdock/Daredevil and the villain Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.

Cox and D’Onofrio have already returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Cox appeared in an episode of ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ and D’Onofrio returned in the final episode of ‘Hawkeye’.

Scardapane’s other credits include ‘Trauma’ and ‘State of Affairs’ on NBC and Jack Ryan’ on Amazon. Benson and Moorhead previously directed ‘Spring’, ‘The Endless’ and ‘Synchronic’ before they joined Marvel Studios.
