Marvel and DC crossover comics to be reprinted in all new omnibus editions

Both Marvel Comics and longtime rival DC will be reprinting the comics that brought the two companies to crossover their heroes.

Releasing in August 2024, Marvel Comics and DC will reprint several comics ranging from the 1970s for a modern audience in two omnibus editions.

The two companies agreed to do this in 2022 for the benefit of longtime comics creator George Pérez.

The DC Versus Marvel Omnibus will bring together several comics throughout the decades, such as the 1999 match between Superman and The Incredible Hulk, the 1995 fight between Darkseid and Galactus, and the 2000 tussle between Batman and Captain America.

Writers include Ron Marz, Dennis O’Neil, George Pérez, Alan Grant, Chris Claremont, Walter Simonson, John Romita Jr., and more.

The DC Versus Marvel Omnibus will the following issues:

A second Omnibus, titled DC/Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus, will be going on sale at the same time, collecting issues that tell stories set in the Amalgam Universe.

In this weird and wacky place, aspects of heroes from both companies merge together, seeing characters like Doctor Strange and Doctor Fate in 1996, Iron Man and Green Lantern in 1997 and Lobo with Howard the Duck in 1997.
