Everyone check this out!! A brilliant man by the name of Patrick Priebe has created a
functioning replica of the wrist gauntlet worn by Tony Stark in the Marvel Comics film Iron Man.
This working model, has two onboard blue lasers powered by lithium ion cells, and has the ability to actually blast, and burn things such as balloons etc. This is one of the absolute coolest things I have ever seen!!
Enjoy!! :)

Everyone SciFiction proudly wishes Stan “The Man” Lee an HAPPY 90th BIRTHDAY!!!
As many of you know Stan Lee is the creator of such fantastic comic book heroes such as, Iron Man, Spiderman, X-Men, The Hulk, and many more!!
Me being a huge comic book geek. I have enjoyed these characters since childhood, and even till this day! The heroes Stan has created tell a story about right, and wrong, and about the struggles that even we deal with time to time.
My personal favorite series of the Marvel Comics universe are the X-men, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and Hulk.
I have posted a tribute above I think is cool. In this tribute it has a brief introduction by Stan himself, and shows a great many of the cameos that he has been in from films based on his characters.
Enjoy!! :)

Favourite Team - The Illuminati (Mr. Fantastic, Namor, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Bolt, Beast has now replaced a deceased Professor X, and Black panther has now joined, along with Captain America)
They are a secret “think-tank” of individuals from across the Marvel universe. Representing science, Atlantis and the seas and oceans, industry and heroics, the mystic arts and magic realms, the inhumans, the mutants and Wakanda. For years they have aimed to shape the world form the shadows, making important decisions, working in a “democracy”. With equal say in affecting the world of heroes, science and magic, as well as humanity.
Many people have heard of X-men. However another incredibly cool comic book franchise existed as well called (Mutant X) which was created by Marvel Studios in the early 2000’s.
This was one of the coolest shows ever!! It centered around a special team of new mutants with extraordinary powers called Mutant X. The team was lead by Adam Kane played by actor John Shea. Adam was an biochemist, and directly responsible for helping create the new mutants via scientific experiments.
These experiments also affected the shows villain Mason Eckhart who was Adams colleague at the time, and the director of Genomex the company that was preforming the experiments on the individuals, that would later develop mutant powers.
After this near fatal accident involving Mason Eckhart, Adams colleague was now hellbent on revenge and blames his old friend for the ordeal thus now becoming his nemesis.
Even though the series had high ratings sadly the show was cancelled due to one of the show’s production companies being dismantled.
I quite enjoyed the series! Having said this I highly recommend viewing, especially if you are into comic book heros!!
Enjoy!! :)
