This Sci-Fi Game Now Delayed, Will Make An Appearance Later In The Year
2025 couldn’t be a more exciting time with new sci-fi games and films on the
horizon; in fact, a new survival game is just around the corner for gaming enthusiasts! This
upcoming game delivers unique twists and delivers a thrill for fighting for your life.
Developed by 11 Bit Studios, The Alters is based on the main character, Jan Dolski, going on
a space expedition gone horribly wrong. Being a survivor of a crash that occurs on an
unknown planet, Jan must find a way to survive. However, it’s not just as simple as finding
food and warmth to stay alive, but creating alternate versions of himself in order to stay
alive. One might be thinking, ‘how does that make sense?’ Well, creating alternate versions
of oneself to escape a hostile situation may actually be a pretty intelligent idea.
The game, aside from creating clones, also revolves around upgrading bases so they
can’t be easily destroyed by the elements and unknown entities of the environment. Like
most survival games, it’s important to keep bases or any living space well-built, but this
game provides the means to keep upgrading them as you get deeper into the game. It’s also
hinted that building relationships is key to staying alive.
The game was originally set for the first quarter of 2025, but has been delayed for later
this year to ensure a smooth release with minimal bugs. However, players may partake in a
demo on Steam if they want to get a taste of the game before release.
