57-Year Mission presented by Creation Entertainment returns to Las Vegas this August
57-Year Mission returns this August, presented once again by Creation Entertainment, with appearances from actors from across the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta quadrants!
The event will be hosted at the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino from August 3 to August 6, with a total of 132 special guests confirmed to be in attendance and many panels.
Guests will include Jack Quaid, Anson Mount and Ethan Peck, William Shatner and George Takei, and Doug Jones.
Photographs and autographs will be available for purchase.
Admission to the event is broken down into several tiers, from gold passes granting extra perks to single day admissions tickets. They’re available to purchase from the Creation Entertainment website.
Over the course of the four days, there will be several different panels running, some reserved for the higher ticket holders.
At a Thursday night dinner, Rick Overton will perform a comedy show, exclusive to gold pass holders.
Later that evening, Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating will be present for a night of karaoke.
On Friday, there will be a must-see panel with stars such as BarBara Luna, Beverly Washburn, Bobby Clark, France Nuyen, Michael Dante, Sandy Gimpel, Sean Kenny and Tanya Lemani.
Not to be outdone, several other stars will hold their own panel on Friday, with guests including Brent Spiner, Denise Crosby, Gates McFadden, John de Lancie, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Marina Sirtis and Michael Dorn.
That evening, there will be another karaoke party, hosted by actor Robert O’Reilly.
For those that love science, Professor David Williams of Arizona State University’s School of Earth and Space Exploration will be presenting two informative talks, one about NASA’s DART mission and Earth’s planetary defence on Friday.
On Saturday Professor Williams will be talking about the Artemis I and NASA’s upcoming lunar missions.
Robert Zubrin from the Mars Society will also be present to give a talk on Saturday, advocating for the exploration of the red rock. There will also be a special VR experience for fans.
The 7th Rule Podcast will be on location as well with their amazing insight on Saturday.
The Inglorious Treksperts, another group of podcasters, will also be present, looking at Gene Roddenberry’s work, recording a live episode with special guests and ranking the best quotes.
Fans can get involved in a cosplay competition during the day.
Starting with a costume parade in the morning, it will be followed by a photo shoot, and later on in the day fans will be judged by a panel for prizes, the top prize being a $1,000 gift certificate.
In the evening, there will be a gala that’s become a highlight among fans across the years.
The Roddenberries will be performing, as well as others. The Cabret is back, though stars haven’t been announced yet. Last year it featured Robert Picardo with Jordan Bennett, and this year is bound to be just as good.
To close out the event on Sunday, the Rat Pack musical band will be performing song parodies written by Max Grodenchik.
