Fan Expo New Orleans in January unveils events and guests

The Fan Expo returns in New Orleans next January, bringing fans from across the United States another chance to meet their heroes and heroines from alternate worlds, both live-action and voice-acted.

Starting on Friday, January 5, and running until Sunday, January 7, plenty of big names from pop culture will be attending, allowing fans to get a picture or an autograph of their favorite star.

The convention will be held at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, with Halls G and H being where panels will be held.

The schedule for the event will be posted 10 days before the start date.

Guests that have confirmed their attendance include Jonathan Frakes from ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’, Linda Hamilton from ‘The Terminator’ franchise, and Katee Sackoff, who has appeared in ‘Battlestar Galactica’ and several ‘Star Wars’ projects.

Voice-acted roles are also strongly represented, with Peter Cullen from ‘Transformers’, Sarah Natochenny from ‘Pokémon’ and Tara Strong from ‘Teen Titans’ and ‘Loki’.

A full list of guests, on what days they’re attending, and how to buy photos and autographs is available on the Fan Expo New Orleans website.

Full tickets and pricing for the event can be found on the Fan Expo New Orleans website, however single day and weekend tickets can be bought.

There is also an Ultimate Fan Package available for purchase, which gives perks and bonuses like priority entrance, several limited edition Fan Expo items, and a 10% coupon at the Fan Expo Store.

If attendees buy their tickets before December 21, they can receive a discount on their entry passes.

Fans can find out about updates for the Expo by checking their website, or by checking their social media accounts for more information.
