Call of the Night Season 2 Ready for Summer 2025 Release
The highly anticipated second season of Call of the Night is set to premiere on July 4, 2025, at 11:30 PM JST on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block. This season continues the story of Ko Yamori after they have been drawn into the enigmatic world of the night after encountering the alluring vampire Nazuna Nanakusa. The upcoming episodes promise to delve deeper into their unconventional relationship, exploring themes of love, identity, and the allure of the nocturnal world.
Returning to helm the series is director Tomoyuki Itamura, alongside chief director Tetsuya Miyanishi, with scripts penned by Michiko Yokote and character designs by Haruka Sagawa. The original voice cast reprises their roles, including Gen Sato as Ko and Sora Amamiya as Nazuna. Season 2 introduces new characters that add depth to the narrative: Maaya Uchida voices Haru Nanakusa, a nurse bearing a striking resemblance to Nazuna, and Rina Sato portrays Kiku Hoshimi, a mysterious woman who becomes entangled with Ko’s friend Mahiru.
To build excitement ahead of the official release, a special advanced screening of the first three episodes is scheduled for June 14, 2025, at United Cinemas Toyosu in Tokyo. This event will feature appearances by voice actors Gen Sato and Sora Amamiya. Additionally, HIDIVE plans to host a panel at Anime Expo 2025 on July 5, offering attendees a sneak peek at Episode 2 and a Q&A session. With its unique blend of supernatural romance and atmospheric storytelling, Call of the Night Season 2 is poised to be a standout in the Summer 2025 anime lineup.
