What’s Coming Soon to Xbox Game Pass in October

Whether players are looking for seasonal scares or just want to take a crack at games on their backlist, Xbox Game Pass still has some October releases to prepare for. Here are all the games you can pre-install now so you’re ready to go on launch day.

  1. City Skylines II (PC) October 26

Fans of building simulation games are in for a treat, as this anticipated game is available on Game Pass same day as it releases. This is a strategy based game where players will be creating a city from scratch to turn it into a thriving metropolis. There were some performance issues caught by the developers, but no news of delays.

  1. Dead Space (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) – October 26

Arriving just in time for Halloween is the Dead Space remake. This horror juggernaut is a must try for survival horror fans. Players will need to discover what happened aboard the USG Ishimura while being stalked by nightmarish creatures. 

  1. Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery (Cloud and Console) – October 26

This adorable game will see players solving three cases. Play as The Detective, an experienced frog detective, as he puts clues together and questions suspects. Frog Detective 3 will be available for Game Pass on consoles October 26th.

  1. Mineko’s Night Market (Cloud, Console, and PC) – October 26

For fans of cozy games and lots of cats, Mineko’s Night Market will be arriving on Game Pass at the end of the month. Follow a young girl as she comes back to her struggling home village to see the entire island overrun by cats. Inspired by Japanese culture, players will be able to craft whimsical items and revive the night market. All while discovering the secret of the great sun cat, Nikko.

  1. Headbangers: Rhythm Royale (Cloud, Console, and PC) – October 31

Not your usual rhythm game, Head Bangers Rhythm Royale is a cute PVP game. Musical mini-games are made all the more competitive with power-ups that can be used to sabotage enemy players. It promises music mayhem as twenty-nine players battle it out to be the top headbanger.

  1. Jusant (Cloud, Console, and PC) – October 31

The last game on the list is Jusant. Climb an ever changing tower as your watery companion guides you and awakens nature. This is an action-puzzle game where players will discover the secrets of a long lost civilization. 

There are a few games leaving on October 31st as well. Try them now before the month ends.
