New Predator Movie Set to Hit Theaters in 2025; Here’s What To Expect So Far.

The popular Predator franchise is making a comeback on November 7th of 2025, and fans are
highly anticipating its arrival. With the success of Prey, the last film in the franchise, it’s no
question Predator: Badlands will bring just as much gore, brutality, and science-fiction action.
What else can viewers expect from the upcoming film?

The newest film will be directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who also was in charge of directing
Prey, and viewers can expect more vibrant visuals and eye-catching special effects. He stated
himself that Badlands will be a standalone film, and not a sequel or prequel of any kind. Without
giving out too much information, he also hinted that the Predator will be the protagonist in this
film, which hasn’t been done in previous films, though there was a ‘good’ predator for a short
period of time in the 2010 film Predators.

Badlands is the seventh film in the mainline series, and ninth in the overall franchise. It will
take place on another alien planet rather than Earth, just like in 2010s Predators, but it’s
undisclosed on when exactly it takes place. From this point forward, fans can only get more
hyped and come up with theories on this movie.
