More Sci-Fi TV Show Sequels to Expect in 2025

A lot of new shows and additional seasons are on the horizon, keeping viewers on their
toes for what’s to expect in the coming months. Here is a list of just some of the few shows
expected to arrive before the end of 2025:

The fifth season of Stranger Things is one of the many shows making an appearance this year,
and unfortunately, will be the final season. It is highly anticipated, following the world of
Dungeons and Dragons and what lies within it. There is no known release date other than it is
expected to arrive sometime this year.

The seventh season of Black Mirror will also be making an appearance on Netflix this year.
Known for its thought-provoking and dark stories, this series of anthologies will be making a
return after a long wait.

Season three of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, a spinoff of the popular Star Trek films, is
slated for release this year after a three-year wait. The show explores Captain Christopher Pike
and his crew exploring civilizations and other worlds before Captain Kirk takes command. This
show is among many other Star Trek spin-offs.

The animated show Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is renewed for a second season, hyping up
viewers of all ages who are looking forward to new Star Wars content.

And last but not least, let’s not forget the fifteenth season of the ongoing series Doctor Who,
which is making a return soon. The fourteenth season aired in May of 2024, and the new
season will premiere on April 12th of this year, just around the corner.
