Fantastic Four to Join Marvel Rivals in Season 1 Trailer

The Fantastic Four will join NetEase’s ‘Marvel Rivals’ in a few days and kick off the first season of the game.

Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm, respectively Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and The Thing were all teased in a reveal trailer on Jan 6.

An anime version of Galactus, one of the main foes of the Fantastic Four, kicks off the trailer, as Dracula gives voiceover.

During the trailer, fans can see The Thing pushing a ruined bus, Mister Fantastic attempting to repair a machine, the Invisible Woman casting a shield around the Baxter Building and the Human Torch creating the Fantastic Four’s iconic logo.

The team come together to face Dracula at the end of the trailer kicking off the first season on January 10th, called Eternal Night Falls.

“Darkness engulfs New York as the Timestream Entanglement leaves Doctor Strange trapped in the Entangled Astral Plane, scattering the Darkhold pages. Dracula and Doctor Doom disrupt the moon’s orbit, plunging the city into eternal night and unleashing an army of vampiric creatures,” reads the official blurb.

“With the world on the brink, the Fantastic Four join forces with iconic Marvel heroes, standing together in the epic battle to break the mystical darkness with science. Ignite the battle against Dracula with the Fantastic Four in Marvel Rivals!”

‘Marvel Rivals’ is a 6v6 hero PvP game, which burst onto the scene in December 2024. Its opening weekend alone saw player counts rocket to 10 million.

This kicks off the start of a big year for the Fantastic Four, as the heroes make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the film ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ when it arrives into cinemas on 25 July, 2025
