Crunchyroll Announces Anime Expo Lineup
Crunchyroll has announced its lineup for its upcoming Anime Expo in July.
From July 3 to July 6, fans will be able to have behind the scenes looks at projects and sneak peeks at upcoming titles.
These titles include:
- Let’s Play—the gaming-themed webcomic premieres at Anime Expo
- Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP!—a new comedic isekai series
On July 3, Crunchyroll will take over the stage of the Platinum Ballroom at the JW Marriott to premiere ‘Let’s Play’, with Creator Leeanne M. Krecic and Director Daiki Tomiyasu chatting about the gaming inspired series.
Season 4 of ‘The Rising of the Shield Hero’ will be represented by the Japanese voice of Naofumi (Kaito Ishikawa) and Producer Ten Kimura to go behind the scenes of the new season to go into the behind the scenes.
Voice actors Daiki Hamano and Mizuki Niizaki will be present to talk about the premiere of ‘Solo Camping for Two’
On July 5, Crunchyroll Industry Panel will be held, with plenty of announcements and more for fans, including a preview of ‘Sentenced to be a Hero’.
There will be 10 premieres, which will include early looks at:
- Nyaight of the Living Cat
- Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 4
- To Your Eternity Season 3
- May I Ask for One Final Thing?
On July 4, there will be a panel for the two 2025 Crunchyroll Anime of the Year nominees ‘Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End’ and ‘The Apothecary Diaries’ as fans learn what’s next for the series and hear from the voice actors.
On July 5, ‘Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE’ will release its first episode in its second cour.
The voice actors of Senku Ishigami (Yusuke Kobayashi) and Dr. Xeno (Kenji Nojima) will be present to celebrate the return of the series.
Fans will also be able to hear from actors from ‘My Dress-Up Darling’ season 2 together with the Japanese voices of Marin Kitagawa (Hina Suguta) and Wakana Gojo (Shoya Ishige).
On the final day, July 6, there will be the Kaiju No. 8 panel, and a behind the scenes look at Toilet-bound Hanako-kun with one of the most legendary talents in anime, Megumi Ogata (Hanako-kun), with producers Yuki Katayama and Shota Komatsu
There will also be an immersive experiences for ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle’ and ‘Gachiakuta’ at the Crunchyroll booth ahead of the film’s release in cinemas in September 2025 at booth #2526.
The Crunchyroll Store will be at booth #2135 with over 30 exclusive items, such as the new Kaiju No. 8 Youtooz Vinyl Figure (Glow in the Dark), exclusive apparel ‘Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End’, ‘Shangri-La Frontier’ and ‘JUJUTSU KAISEN’.
