Marvel’s Ironheart Lands on Disney+

Mark your calendars, Marvel fans! The highly anticipated Disney+ series Ironheart is set to
premiere on June 24, 2025, with a three-episode debut, followed by new episodes every
Tuesday. This exciting new entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe will introduce audiences to
the brilliant and determined Riri Williams, a young female genius who creates the most
advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.

Following her debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Dominique Thorne returns to star as
Riri. The series will see Riri return to her hometown of Chicago after her experiences in
Wakanda. Expelled from MIT for utilizing too many resources, Riri finds herself entangled with
the enigmatic Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood, played by Anthony Ramos. This sets
up a fascinating conflict between technology and magic, as The Hood’s powers are derived from
a mystical cloak.

The official synopsis teases that Riri’s pursuit of her ambitions leads her down a dangerous path
as she discovers secrets that pit her technological prowess against the dark arts wielded by The
Hood. Early footage suggests that Riri might even initially work alongside The Hood to gain the
resources needed to build her new suit, hinting at a complex and morally grey journey for the
young hero.

Created by Chinaka Hodge, who also serves as head writer, Ironheart promises to be a unique
addition to the MCU, exploring themes of legacy, the allure of power, and the challenges faced

by a young hero stepping into a world of both technological wonder and ancient magic. With its
Chicago setting adding a distinct flavor to the MCU landscape, audiences can expect a gritty
