CinemaCon Announces an Update on Upcoming ‘Fantastic Four’ Film

CinemaCon had many new film reveals and updates, leaving fans excited for what the
future holds for us in the movie industry. One of the films that’s been in talks for a while now,
Fantastic Four: First steps, had an important update at the convention, including a villain reveal
and more superhero excitement. Fantastic Four will be taking First Steps into the Marvel
Cinematic Universe.

First off, the new film will have a new set of actors playing as the titular four, being led by
Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. In the new trailer that
was revealed, we learn that Reed and Sue are having a baby, marking it as the first time in
Marvel history that they have featured a working mom superhero.

It’s also been revealed that the Silver Surfer will be played by Julia Garner, and this
villain will be played on the big screen for the first time in over a decade. Fans were over the top
excited, clapping and cheering at the CinemaCon when this ecstatic news was revealed. Fans
of Fantastic Four can expect this new film to be released this summer on July 25th, 2025.
