The trailer teases players what’s awaiting them in the game’s setting of Mithrigarde, a fantasy world full of ogres, axe-wielding barbarians and everything in between.

An Alpha demo is available on Steam for players to try now.

Currently, the game doesn’t have a release date for the full version.

Updates about the game can be found by following the studio’s X account.

‘Legacy: Steel & Sorcery’ is the studio’s first game, and the description on Steam reads:

“Explore the dangerous beauty of Legacy: Steel & Sorcery as you race to find lost treasures while battling players and monsters in merciless action combat. But make sure to find your way back to safety before it’s too late—or risk losing it all.”

The game features distinct fantasy character classes, letting players pick one that best suits their individual playstyle.

Notorious Studios, founded in 2021, is composed of 30 team members, who have worked on titles like ‘ World of Warcraft’, ‘Diablo’, and ‘Overwatch’.

It has recieved investment from several places, including the game development studio Riot Games.

Speaking to Venture Beat in 2021, founder and CEO of Notorious Studios, Chris Kaleiki said about Riot Games:

“I think they’re a developer who cares a lot about the player’s experience as well,” he said.

“They have a franchise that’s beloved by players. We have so many friends and colleagues who work at Riot, who used to work at Blizzard. I’ve always had a good view of them.”

Other investors in the studio include Galaxy Entertainment, Ventures and OTK.
