007 First Light Follows James Bond Before He Becomes The Best MI6 Agent Everyone Knows
007 First Light is the new Bond origin adventure from IO Interactive. Players will chase a rogue agent through vibrant locations. While also driving iconic vehicles that long time fans will recognize. This is a spy game but you aren’t restricted to stealth. You can choose to fight, infiltrate, or talk your way past guards. After completing a mission, players will be able to modify gameplay.
Only teasers have been released, though we know a few details. First Light will see a young Bond earning his numbers. All while trying to stop a coup. Some fan favorites will make an appearance throughout. This is a standalone story though. So previous knowledge of the franchise isn’t necessary to follow along.
The newest Bond game is expected to arrive in 2026. It’s meant to start a “new” series that fans can grow with. Though the announcement trailer was narrative focused, the creators of Hitman are sure to deliver a fun experience. First Light will be on PC and all new gen consoles. This includes handheld systems like the Switch 2.
