Warhammer Preview: Las Vegas Open 2025 Reveals
Games Workshop revealed new kits for Warhammer 40K and Fantasy, as well as Necromunda. With plenty more on the horizon. There are returning characters and armies, like the beastmen who will be rejoining Age of Sigmar. The World Waters, Death Guard, and Thousand Sons are on the roadmap for 40K. Here are the armies and terrain kits that are coming to the game now.
- Deathrattle Army Box
This army set brings Wight Kings who excel at commanding calvary, Barrow Guards who can recover models without using a dice roll, and plenty of skeletal knights back to Age of Sigmar. The vampire lord on horseback can also lead the Soulblight Gravelords. Players also get Prince Vhordrai who rides an undead dragon, and can be built as a Revenant Dragonith instead. Each of these units can work with any undead armies. The Battletome includes extended lore, terrain features and manifestations, four new battle regiments, the Anvil of Apotheosis which allows players to customize their warlords, and the Deathrattle Tomb Host Spearhead formation.
- New Black Library Books And Accompanying Models
On top of a new Black Library novel one protagonist, Minka Lesk, and some of her allies are coming to the tabletop. This squad will get a Legends datasheet so they can be used in casual games of Warhammer 40K. The elven assassin, Maleneth Witchblade, will also be getting a model. Fans of 40K and Age of Sigmar will be able to add these miniatures and books in February when the Black Library Celebration begins.
- High Elf Battalion Box
This army comes with a total of 66 miniatures for players to bring into their Old World games. It will include two chariot minis that can be built as Tiranoc Chariots or Lion Chariots of Chrace. Infantry units can also be split into smaller units if needed. There will also be a Lord of Chrace mini and more returning minis. Some high elf generals, Lothern Sea Guard, White Lions, Dragon Princes of Caledor are returning. This battalion box comes with a rulebook for the Chracian Warhost and the Sea Guard Ga rrison, extended lore, special characters, new units and new magic items.
- Necromunda Army Box And Terrain
The Ash Waste Nomads will get Heavy Blasters, Venom Casters, Blast Carbines, Stub Guns, and Autoguns. These weapons add versatility in how players can approach each battle. Nomads also bring massive Arthromite Spinewyms into combat. These creatures can burrow through everything from rock to armor. In Necromunda: Tribes of the Wastelands there are updated gang rules, hired guns, Dramatis Personae, themed scenarios, a trading post, and mystical elements that players can use to enhance their nomad set.
- Champions of Slaanesh Army Box
The Emperor’s Children include new Noise Marines models. There are twelve Noise Marines, a kit to build either twenty Infractors or Tormentors, Lords Exultant and Lords Kakophonist to act as chaos commanders, a new codex, datacards and transfers. These marines use sonic blasters, screamer pistols, and blastmaster cannons while the Infractors and flawless blades excel in melee combat. Tormentors focus on causing destruction with ranged attacks. Lucius the Eternal is a narratively important character and can be added, but is not included in the box set. Fulgrim, the traitor Primarch, can also be added in addition to the other commanders.
