Ultraman Fans will have an Ultra-experience at San Diego Comic-Con with Screenings and more

Ultraman producer Tsuburaya Productions has confirmed that the Japanese superhero will be having a large presence at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con.

From screeings, panels, merchandise, and more, the superhero franchise will be very busy across the entireity of SDCC. 

The first panel audiences can look forward to is learning more Ultraman making his debut alongside Marvel’s Avengers in Marvel’s ‘Ultraman X Avengers’ on Friday July 26.

The Ultraman Connection editorial team will be joined by artist E.J. Su, Reilly Brown and others teasing the crossover and the Ultraman Card Game art.  

Later that evening, there will be the Norh American debut of the live-action ‘Ultraman Blazar the Movie: Tokyo Kaiju Showdown’ as a wave of deadly Kaiji attack the city. 

The screening will be hosted by Ultraman Connection, and will feature a live appearance from Ultraman Blazar and a surprise Ultra Hero. 

On Sunday July 28,‘Ultraman: Rising’ stars Christopher Sean and Keone Young, the directors Shannon Tindle and John Aoshima, and Tsuburaya Productions will discuss the film that hit Netflix in June.

Audiences will also be able to get a sneak preview at the plans for a new Ultra Hero, Ultraman Arc, a preview of the Ultraman Card Game, and the Mill Creek Entertainment Blu-rays

Throughout the event, fans will have the opportunity to meet characters from across the Ultraman universe at the Ultraman booth (#3729), and the Bandai booth (#3345). 

Characters set to appear are Ultraman, Ultraman Arc, Ultraman Blazar, Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Taiga, and Emi.

Jami Noguchi, artist for Ultraman, will be at the Tsuburaya Fields Media & Pictures booth (#3729) with other comicbook creators and talent for autograph sessions. 

Fans will also have the opportunity to buy Ultraman merchandise at the Ultraman booth throughout the event. The Bandai booth with also feature purchasable Ultraman figures.
