Two New Invincible Spin-Offs Are Officially on the Way

The Invincible Universe is expanding once again. Following the success of Robert Kirkman’s
flagship series and its recent animated adaptation on Prime Video, Skybound Entertainment and
Image Comics are set to release two highly anticipated compendium editions spotlighting fan-
favorite characters: Tech Jacket and The Astounding Wolf-Man.

These collections aim to reintroduce these heroes to both longtime fans and newcomers, offering
a deeper dive into their stories within the broader Invincible Universe.

Tech Jacket: From High School to Galactic Hero

Tech Jacket follows Zack Thompson, a high school student who unexpectedly inherits a
powerful alien suit known as the Tech Jacket. This suit, created by the Geldarians, grants Zack
enhanced strength, speed, flight, and advanced weaponry. His journey mirrors that of many
young heroes: balancing the challenges of adolescence with the responsibilities of newfound
power.

The upcoming Tech Jacket Compendium will collect the original Tech Jacket series (#1–8), the
digital miniseries (#1–3), and the 2014–2015 series (#1–12), totaling 23 issues. This edition
promises to provide a comprehensive look at Zack’s evolution from an ordinary teenager to a
formidable intergalactic protector. The compendium will feature an all-new cover by E.J. Su and
Dave McCaig, paying homage to the series’ roots while presenting it in a fresh light.

The Astounding Wolf-Man: A Tale of
Transformation and Redemption

The Astounding Wolf-Man centers on Gary Hampton, a wealthy CEO who, after a brutal attack,
transforms into a werewolf. Struggling with his new identity, Gary grapples with the duality of
his human and monstrous sides, seeking redemption and purpose in a world that now sees him as
a threat.

The Astounding Wolf-Man Compendium will compile the entire 25-issue series, along with
Gary’s appearance in Invincible #57, offering a complete narrative arc.

A Strategic Release

Both compendiums are scheduled for release on November 19th, 2025. The timing coincides
with the recent surge in interest following the third season of the Invincible animated series,
where both Tech Jacket and The Astounding Wolf-Man made notable appearances. Robert
Kirkman acknowledged this, noting, “It’s been a pleasant surprise seeing the interest in both of
these series spiking after their appearances in season 3 of Invincible!”

This strategic release not only capitalizes on the renewed interest but also provides readers with
