Tron: Ares Trailer, Release Date Both Announced

Hold on tight, fans of Tron. After over a decade since the previous film, this third film in the series
is currently in the works and set to release later this year. Starring Jared Leto, Tron: Ares is a standalone
sequel to Tron: Legacy, focusing on a sophisticated Program known as Ares being sent to the real world
from the digital world on a very intense mission. The film will explore humankind’s first encounter with A.I.,
which makes sense considering current times and the fact previous films focus heavily on computer
technology. There are conflicting views on whether this will live up to expectations since a lot of films
seem to be heavily focused on A.I.

Emmy-winner Evan Peters will be acting alongside Leto, playing Julian Dillinger, a relative of the
overarching antagonist Ed Dillinger from the previous films. It was also announced that other major stars
such as Jeff Bridges, Greta Lee, and Jodie Turner-Smith will also be partaking in the new film as well as a
few other well-known actors, which appears to make fans even more excited about the upcoming sequel.

Fans can expect the film to be released on October 10th, 2025, and the first trailer is now available
to watch online.
