This ‘Star Wars’ Character is Getting Their Own Disney+ Spinoff Series

Disney’s Star Wars is always coming up with exciting content and projects that tend to
capture the attention of many. However, one particular character is getting their own series on
Disney+, and it’s one fans seem to really look forward to; why wouldn’t they?

That’s right, the iconic villain Darth Maul will be making rounds on television in a new
series and yes, it will be animated. Maul: Shadow Lord might just be one of the most exciting
projects Disney will release. The show follows Maul (played by returning Clone Wars and
Rebels star Sam Witwer), seemingly as he builds out the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate.
The trailer shown to gathered fans in the hall included various Criminal factions like the
Pykes reeling from attacks on shipments, only for Maul to reveal himself as the architect.

It was confirmed and announced at the Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo as they were
celebrating 20 years of Lucasfilm Animation History. There is not an exact date confirmed,
however we do know that it will be released next year. So during this time period between now
and then, why not hype yourself up with previous Star Wars films or shows?
