This Adorable Film Releasing in June Will Be the Perfect Film to Introduce Kids to the Sci-Fi Genre

A Disney Pixar film is coming out this summer, and it involves the exquisite beauty of space and
what may lie within it. Elio explores the story of an 11-year-old boy named Elio who is beyond
passionate about space, but finds himself taken in a cosmic misadventure to a Communiverse
where he must communicate and form bonds with alien lifeforms, especially since he becomes
mistaken for their leader. Elio wants to live this experience to the fullest and explore what space
has to offer.

The film was announced in 2022 and originally set to release in March of 2024, but was delayed
to June 20th of this year due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. It will also be the first Pixar
full-length film to have sapient aliens, making it unique and different from previous alien films.
