So here’s everything we know about the Steam Deck console, where you can get and and how much it will cost.
When does the Steam Deck release?
Valve announced that the Steam Deck will go on sale starting February 25th. customers who have reservations will get an email on that day and have three days to place an order.
This is what Valve has to say: “We will start sending invites shortly after 10:00 am on February 25th, PST. Order emails are sent in the same order that reservations were made.
“You can only order the Steam Deck model that you originally reserved. Your reservation deposit will be applied to the final price of Steam Deck, and shipping costs are included.”
Where can you get it?
You can reserve your console on Steam’s website or its computer application.
It cost £4 to reserve and you get the choice of which console you wish to order and then it will give you your availability date.
How much will it cost?
Valve is offering three models, and while they have the same core components, the pricier versions offer greatly improved storage and accessories.
Here’s the breakdown:
- £349 Steam Deck – it comes with 64GB of eMMC storage and a carrying case.
- £459 Steam Deck – 256GB of faster NVMe SSD storage, the same carrying case, and an exclusive Steam profile bundle.
- £569 Steam Deck – 512GB of “high-speed” NVMe SSD storage, special anti-glare glass, an exclusive virtual keyboard theme, a custom carrying case, and the Steam profile bundle.
