Star Wars Jedi: Survivor coming to Xbox One and PS4 in September

2023’s ‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ will officialy hit Xbox One and PS4 consoles on September 17, EA has confirmed.

Both versions will cost $49.99.

They’ve also promised some more performance improvements to the PC version of the game, which was highly criticised upon its April 2023 launch.

While the performance, particularly on PC, was bad, many critics and fans still enjoyed the game, as it refined what its predecessor ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’ introduced.

‘Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’ takes place five years after ‘Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’, with Cal Kestis still struggling against the Empire, who’s control over the galaxy has only grown.

He also fights to stay in the light and not fall to the Dark Side, as new enemies test Cal’s faith.

His moveset and fighting styles has been greatly expanded upon since ‘Fallen Order’, with developer Respawn Entertainment handing him tools like a grappling hook, five different lightsaber stances, and the ability to use animals as mounts.

Respawn also let players visit even more planets in the ‘Star Wars’ universe, like Coruscant and Jedha, and completely new locations like Koboh and Tanalorr.

EA has announced that Respawn are working on a third title in the ‘Star Wars Jedi’ series, but its title, release date, and story are as of yet unknown.

The next ‘Star Wars’ game will be from Ubisoft, called ‘Star Wars: Outlaws’ and will see players let loose on the ‘Star Wars’ galaxy, and take control of Kay Vess as she seeks to make it big in the criminal underworld.
