Spider-Man 4 Title Revealed at CinemaCon
Sony has revealed the title of Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man 4’, at CinemaCon.
The film will be called ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ which will arrive in cinemas on July 26, 2026.
Holland appeared via a video to announce the title, and the film’s director Destin Daniel Cretton.
“To say that it’s an honor to be standing on this stage is a pretty big understatement,” Cretton said. He explained that he was a lifelong fan of the character and has been drawn to Peter Parker’s “humor” and “messy humanity.”
Cretton called the movie “a ride that we haven’t really seen before.”
‘Brand New Day’ is a reference to a 2008 comicbook storyline that takes place after a universe-shattering event when everyone forgot who Spider-Man was.
Other cast memebers include Zendaya and Jacob Batalon who will reprise their roles as MJ and Ned.
The end of the last film in Holland’s Spider-Man film, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, released in 2021, saw the world forget who Spider-Man and Peter Parker were.
Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna wrote the latest Spider-Man film after previously writing ‘No Way Home’.
The last Marvel Studios film was ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, which was released on February 14, and the next film from the studio will be ‘Thunderbolts*’.
