Space Command to attend San Diego Comic-Con 2025 to launch final post-production crowdfunding

The TV show ‘Space Command’ is set to attend San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with an in-person panel.

At this panel, they will launch the final post-production crowdfunding campaign for episodes 3 and 4, ‘Space Command: Forgiveness’.

Audiences will be able to find the panel at the Neil Morgan Auditorium at 10am on Thursday 24 July.

The first two episodes have attracted talent across the film and TV industry, such as special guest star Doug Jones (‘Star Trek Discovery’, ‘The Shape of Water’), Robert Picardo (‘The Orville’, ‘Stargate Atlantis’, ‘Star Trek Voyager’), Michael Harney (‘Orange is the New Black’, ‘A Star is Born’, ‘Project Blue Book’), Mira Furlan (‘Lost’, ‘Babylon 5’), Bill Mumy (‘Babylon 5’, ‘Lost in Space’), Bryan McClure (‘Atlanta’, ‘Doom Patrol’), James Hong (‘Blade Runner’, ‘Big Trouble in Little China’), Ethan McDowell (‘Doom Patrol’), Christina Moses (‘A Million Little Things’, ‘The Originals’), John Hennigan (‘Glow’), Faran Tahir (J.J. Abrams’ ‘Star Trek’, ‘Iron Man’, ‘American Crime’), Gigi Edgley (‘Farscape’) and Bruce Boxleitner (‘Tron’, ‘Babylon 5’, ‘Supergirl’).

Behind the camera, industry veterans include character designer Iain McCaig (‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’), visual effects producer and three-time Emmy winner Mitch Suskin (‘Lost’, ‘Enterprise’, ‘E.T.’), visual effects supervisor Amin Eftekhar (‘Mad Max: Fury Road’) and production designer Cindi Knapton (the new ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Matrix’ films).

“After decades of dystopian futures, it’s time for a change.” said creator and writer Marc Scott Zicree.

“I’ve worked for all the major studios and networks, crafting hundreds of hours of classic episodes for such iconic shows as Star Trek – The Next Generation, Babylon 5, Deep Space Nine, Sliders and many more. Those I’ve collaborated with have included Gene Roddenberry, Guillermo del Toro, George R.R. Martin, Ronald D. Moore, Bryan Fuller and Ray Bradbury – some of the greatest artists of the last fifty years.

“When I was a kid, Star Trek debuted. Although made during the turmoil of the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights Movement, it had the courage to say that we could reach across boundaries and barriers to create a future worth living in.

“Star Trek inspired millions of people to become scientists, teachers, astronauts and more. Most importantly, it had a vision that gave people hope and invited them to become their best selves.

“I strongly believe that — more than ever — we need such a message today. Together, let’s change the world… for the better.”

Elaine Zicree also works on the show as a writer alongside Marc. ‘Space Command: Redemption’ can be viewed on YouTube.
