Secret Level Season 2 Confirmed For Amazon Prime Video
‘Secret Level’ will return for a second season on Amazon Prime Video, the company confimed.
This news comes as the first season finishes with the final episodes releasing on the platform on December 17.
The anothology series features shorts on 15 different video games, all animated in their own unique style.
Amazon said ‘Secret Level’ achieved the most-watched animated series debut of all time for the streamer within its first week, though viewership numbers were not provided to evidence the claim.
The first season boasted a strong cast, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Temuera Morrison, Ariana Greenblatt, Heaven Hart, Emily Swallow, Gabriel Luna, Ricky Whittle, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Merle Dandridge, Claudia Doumit, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Clive Standen, Laura Bailey and Michael Beach.
Tim Miller created the project, and served as an executive producer with supervising director Dave Wilson.
Blur Studio produced with Amazon MGM Studios, and Axis Studios helped animate some of the shorts.
The games featured are from well-known franchises, like ‘Dungeons & Dragons’, ‘Pac-Man’, ‘Concord’, ‘Playtime’, ‘The Outer Worlds’, ‘Unreal Tournament’, ‘Sifu’, ‘Warhammer 40,000’, ‘New World’, ‘Armored Core’, ‘Spelunky’, Exodus’, ‘Honor of Kings’, ‘Crossfire’, and ‘Mega Man’.
While there is no indication of when season will release on Amazon Prime Video,it’s been reveled that this first season took three years to complete, so fans might be in for a long wait.
