Season 2 of The Boys Spin-Off Gen V Now has an Official Release Date and Trailer
Season 2 of ‘The Boys’ Spin-Off ‘Gen V’ now has an official release date and trailer.
Students Marie Moreau (Jaz Sinclair), Emma Meyer (Lizzie Broadway), Cate Dunlap (Maddie Phillips) Jordan Li (London Thor and Derek Luh), Sam Riordan (Asa Germann) return to Godolkin University to uncover more sinister projects at the school.
The first three episodes premiere September 17, exclusively on Prime Video, with following episodes releasing weekly.
The synopsis reads as follows “In Season Two, school is back in session. As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander’s iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new Dean preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever. Cate and Sam are celebrated heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma reluctantly return to college, burdened by months of trauma and loss.
“But parties and classes are hard to care about with war brewing between Humans and Supes, both on and off campus. The gang learns of a secret program that goes back to the founding of Godolkin University that may have larger implications than they realize. And, somehow, Marie is a part of it.”
The trailer, released as part of the ‘Gen V’ season two panel at San Diego Comic-Con, teased audiences with what they can expect from the new season.
Starlight returns to break Marie and her friends out of the facility from the end of season one, and wants them to return to Godolkin University to investigate Project Odessa.
They’ll come up against the new Dean of the school, Dean Cipher (Hamish Linklater), and mainstays from ‘The Boys’ like Black Noir and The Deep.
The trailer teases that Marie is even more powerful than she realises, potentially even more powerful than Homelander.
Audiences don’t have long to wait before school is back in session on September 17, 2025.
