No Man’s Sky Gets A Big Update
No Man’s Sky recently got its largest update yet. This update is free for all players. It brings new planets and terrain to explore in an already vast universe. Players will see various environments that weren’t possible before. Narrative questions that have been unanswered so far will finally get some conclusions.
Gas giants have been introduced. These are bigger than any planet players could previously visit. Oceans can now be explored through deep sea gameplay. New strange life forms are there to be discovered. Water is also much more reactive. As ships fly above ripples and foam will appear. It will also reflect changes in the sky.
Under the sea and on land, a new lighting system will increase the details. Shadows will get deeper until all light disappears. Effects like seeing light filtering through leaves or entering pitch black caves are now possible. Along with new terrain features like towering mountain ranges and canyons so deep they become an abyss. This increase in immersion will help players feel as though there’s unending depths to search.

New missions and an expedition will take you through randomly generated planets, so discoveries are unique. Among the variety of rewards, there’s an interesting ship. It’s a living jet fighter. Worlds Part II shows there’s still plenty to come for No Man’s Sky, even after nine years. Fans who also have Twitch can get exclusive pets, multi-tools, ships, and more just by watching streams until February 3rd.
