New Sci-Fi Survival Series Based on Iconic Graphic Novel Has Been Added to Netflix
Watch out, a new sci-fi series has made an appearance on Netflix based on a famous comic
from 1957 written by Héctor G Oesterheld. That’s right, The Eternaut is available to stream, and
it’s absolutely mindblowing. The six-part survival thriller follows Juan Salvo as he hunts for his
daughter against societal breakdown. What started off as a peaceful card game at home turns
into a disaster.
A power cut causes interruption on an evening with friends, apparently caused by a sudden
snowstorm, but it dives much deeper than that. People start to drop dead outside, leaving Juan
to realize that it’s more than a simple weather incident. You guessed it – killer snow. Juan and
his friends must fight for survival through this horror, though it isn’t much longer before they
discover that the snow has alien origins. “It’s a story of survival, but it’s from the perspective of
ordinary people,” says director Bruno Stagnaro. “This down-to-earth group of people go through
an extraordinary event right on their doorstep.”
This new series is meant for sci-fi and horror fans alike who crave the intensity of fighting for
survival. It’s now available to watch on Netflix.
