New Game That Just Released in April is Already Hitting the Charts
A new action-adventure game developed by Compulsion Games and published by XBox Game
Studios is making headlines as it makes its way across Steam and XBox consoles. South of
Midnight tells a dark modern folktale and takes place in a fictionalized American Deep South,
where mysterious creatures are exposed in this modern universe.
The game explores the story of a woman named Hazel who is pulled into a southern Gothic
world where reality and fantasy come face-to-face. She must partake in a journey to rescue her
mother and, on the path to saving her, delves into a web of folklore that may have ties to her
family history.
The game also provides storytelling that catches the attention and provides stunning visuals to
keep the player engaged. The player also explores the decayed county of Prospero, discovering
the rich history behind it and what secrets lurk beneath.
The game was released on April 10th, and is available for free on GamePass or for $39.99 on
Steam.
