New Film Things Will Be Different to Release in Cinemas From Emerging Filmmaker

‘Things Will Be Different’, a new science fiction from filmmaker Michael Felker will be releasing in cinemas on October 4.

Magnolia Pictures & Magnet Releasing

Magnolia Pictures is the studio behind the film, which sees two time travelling siblings set up a safe house, only to realise that the house isn’t as safe as they’d thought.

The trailer shows them having to work together to survive their ordeal, as a voice thrusts them further forward and tests their resolve.

Adam David Thompson and Riley Dandy star in the film as the two siblings, desperate to get back home and away from their new ordeal.

The film has already garned positive attention and reviews ahead of its release following its appearance at the South by Southwest festival earlier this year.

The film was born out of Felker’s love for sci-fi, and the sci-fi films he would watch with his dad.

“Knowing that he was my audience and driving my ship to wherever he’d have the most fun,” Felker said.

Felker has previously been an editor on ‘Something in the Dirt’, and ‘Occupant’

and has directed the short films ‘Would You Like to Try Again’ and ‘Save and Continue’.

‘Things Will Be Different’ will be Felker’s first feature film.
