Invincibles’ Omni-Man vs. The Boys’ Homelander: Who Would Win?

The world of comics is full of Superman-like characters, but few are as brutal as Invincible’s
Omni-Man and The Boys’ Homelander. Both are god-like beings with super strength, flight,
and speed, yet their approaches to power couldn’t be more different.

Omni-Man is a seasoned warrior from a war-driven alien race, while Homelander is a lab-
made superhuman with unchecked ego and rage. If these two ever clashed, who would come
out on top?

  1. Omni-Man Has More Combat Experience

Omni-Man has spent centuries conquering planets as part of the Viltrumite Empire. His
battles against some of the strongest beings in the Invincible universe have shaped him into a
hardened fighter.

Homelander, on the other hand, has rarely faced real opposition. He rules through fear, not
skill, and has never been forced to adapt in combat. His raw power is impressive, but against
a trained killer like Omni-Man, he’d be outmatched.

  1. Homelander Has the Element of Surprise

While Homelander lacks battle experience, he thrives on psychological warfare. He
manipulates, deceives, and strikes when his enemies least expect it.

Omni-Man is no stranger to deception, but he usually relies on brute force. If Homelander
were to play mind games, he might be able to gain an advantage, at least for a moment.

  1. Omni-Man Is Physically Stronger

Homelander can lift planes and tear people apart with ease, but his feats pale in comparison
to Omni-Man’s.

Omni-Man has punched through planets, fought entire armies, and clashed with fellow
Viltrumites, who are beings as strong as himself. Homelander has never faced anyone on that
level, making his true strength untested.

  1. Homelander Has Heat Vision

One of Homelander’s biggest advantages is his heat vision, which can instantly kill most
opponents.

Omni-Man, however, has fought characters with energy-based attacks before and shrugged
them off. While Homelander’s lasers are deadly, they may not be enough to bring down a
Viltrumite.

  1. Omni-Man Can Take More Damage

Omni-Man has survived deep space travel, planetary destruction, and fights that left him
covered in his own blood, but still standing and gearing up to throw another punch.

Homelander, while nearly indestructible on Earth, has never endured such extreme
conditions. Without proof that he could survive the same level of punishment, Omni-Man
takes this round.

  1. Homelander Has No Known Weakness

Unlike Superman, Homelander doesn’t have a Kryptonite equivalent. He has no clear
physical weaknesses, making him extremely difficult to kill.

Omni-Man’s only real vulnerability is Viltrumite biology. While powerful, he can be hurt by
extreme force, especially when it’s from someone with enough raw strength.

  1. Omni-Man Is Faster in Combat

Both characters can fly at incredible speeds, but Omni-Man has been shown to react and fight
at high velocities. He has dodged lasers, blitzed opponents, and flown across galaxies in short
timeframes.

Homelander is fast, but he lacks feats that compare. His speed is impressive on Earth, but
against Omni-Man, he may struggle to keep up.

  1. Homelander Fights Dirty

Omni-Man is brutal, but Homelander is cruel. He would use hostages, trickery, and
psychological tactics to get the upper hand.

That said, Omni-Man has slaughtered entire civilizations without hesitation. He isn’t above
dirty tactics himself, meaning Homelander’s cruelty wouldn’t be a guaranteed advantage.

  1. Omni-Man Has Defeated Stronger Opponents

Omni-Man has battled some of the most powerful beings in the Invincible universe. He’s
taken on entire fleets, fought other Viltrumites, and survived wars that would obliterate
planets.

Homelander, in contrast, has mostly faced weaker humans. His lack of real competition
means we don’t know how he would fare against someone truly on his level.

  1. Omni-Man Would Win

In a straight-up fight, Omni-Man takes the victory. He’s stronger, faster, more experienced,
and far more durable. Homelander might start off confident, but once he realizes he’s
outmatched, it would be too late.

Homelander is a terrifying force on Earth, but against a seasoned warrior like Omni-Man, he
wouldn’t last long.
