Fallout Season Two Confirmed for 2025

Amazon has confirmed that audiences will get the second season of ‘Fallout’ this year on Prime Video.

The series will release on the company’s streaming channel, Prime Video, in December 2025.

As part of this announcement, season three of the show was also confirmed.

“The holidays came a little early this year – we are thrilled to be ending the world all over again for a third season of Fallout,” Executive Producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy said in a joint statement.

“On behalf of our brilliant cast and crew, our showrunners [Geneva Robertson-Dworet] and [Graham Wagner], and our partners at Bethesda, we’re grateful to our incredible collaborators at Amazon MGM Studios and to the amazing fans as we continue our adventures in the wasteland together.”

Little is known about the second season, though Bethesda and Amazon have teased that the show will visit New Vegas, a key location in the ‘Fallout’ franchise.

Before the season three annoucement, at Comic Con Liverpool, Maximus actor Aaron Moten briefly discussed the potential length of the show, with how far the showrunners have planned it to go.

“When I signed on to do the series, we would have a starting point and they gave me the endpoint,” Moten said. “And that endpoint hasn’t changed. But it is Season 5, 6 type of endpoint.

“We’ve always known that we were gonna take our time with the development of the characters.”

Season one left Lucy MacLean travel with bounty hunter known as the Ghoul, Maximus rising through the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel, and Hank MacLean heading to New Vegas after his defeat.
