Eyes On the Horizon: A First Look at the Intriguing “Mindseye”
Set to launch on June 10, 2025, Mindseye is shaping up to be a compelling narrative-driven,
single-player action-adventure thriller. Developed by Build A Rocket Boy, the studio founded by
former Rockstar Games lead Leslie Benzies, and published by IO Interactive (the minds behind
the Hitman series), Mindseye transports players to the near-future metropolis of Redrock, a
sprawling desert city where technology reigns supreme.
In Redrock, robots handle manual labor, and an intricate AI network constantly monitors the
populace, touted as making it “The Safest City in the World.” Player’s step into the shoes of
Jacob Diaz, a former special-ops soldier haunted by fragmented memories stemming from his
“MindsEye” neural implant. This technology also becomes the key to Jacob’s personal quest for
truth. As he navigates a world shaped by AI experimentation and unchecked military power,
Jacob’s search for his past unravels a conspiracy that could determine humanity’s future as
sentient robots begin to rise, fueled by human ambition.
Mindseye is definitely a game to keep a close watch on as its June release approaches for
PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
