Dragon Ball Daima Episode 13 Overview

Dragon Ball Daima returns after taking a weeklong break with a low-stakes episode that sends the Dragon Ball gang on a detour. With their ship crashing on the second most dangerous world in the Demon Realm they have to hide from giant creatures and monsters that dwarf them while the tech-savvy members work tirelessly to get their plane up and running again. In the meantime, wacky fights between Goku and huge hamsters play out. In the end, they manage to escape and return on their path.

While the Z-Fighters are participating in some fun high jinks, the plot still moves forward. The Demon King, seeing that Goku and friends have managed to get two out of three of the dragon balls, does something that has never happened in the ancient history of the Demon Realm. He has the portal network that connects all the realms turned off, hoping to lock out the fighters until they succumb to the inhospitable second realm.

While this episode was a slow return after a quick break for the holidays, it continues to build up plenty of intrigue for the upcoming episode. With the fighters now locked in the second realm, they will have to get creative to make their way out. The animation remains a high point, and the goofy humor is only amplified in this episode. Those hungry to sink their teeth into deeper details and harder-hitting action will likely start having their fill again in the next week or two, so it’s best to stay tuned in.
