Capelight Pictures has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming sci-fi thriller, Project
Genesis, offering a compelling first look at the 2025 film. The trailer introduces audiences to a
high-concept narrative centered on a scientist who makes a startling discovery about a project
meant to save humanity.
The film’s plot revolves around a young scientist and single mother, Stella, who returns to her
hometown only to be contacted by her long-lost father through an old radio. He reveals he’s
trapped in a different time configuration in space and that to bring him back, she must find the
“Genesis Machine.” This device, developed as part of a top-secret CIA project left behind in
Thailand, becomes her key to embarking on an odyssey through time and space.
The trailer, released with both German and English dialogue, showcases a mix of emotionally
charged drama and intriguing sci-fi elements. While a more specific theatrical release date is yet
to be announced, the film is set to be available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting
