Another ‘Dark Pictures Anthology’ Game is Coming This Fall, and This Time It Takes Place in Space

The Dark Pictures Anthology games are well-known for immersive storytelling, graphic images,
and interactions that determine the fate of everyone in the game. They are typically
horror-based, with various jumpscares and choices that determine who survives and who
doesn’t. The games can be multiplayer or solo-based, making it quite the experience for all. The
newest game, Directive 8020, is the fifth game in the anthology series, and the first game of the
second season.

A crew is on a ship known as Cassiopeia that lands on a horrifying planet, and the ship is taken
over by a deadly alien threat that intends to eradicate human life. The player must make choices
in order to survive, as well as using improvised weapons to fight off the threats. With a blend of
adventure, meaningful choices, survival tactics, and a branching storyline, this game is one to
look forward to without a doubt.

This horrifying survival game will be available on Playstation 5, Microsoft Windows, X Box
Series X/S as of October 2nd, 2025.
