Anime Sequels and New Adaptations Set For the Near Future

Exciting news for anime fans – several anime adaptations and new sequels are in the
works. From the newest season of Re:Zero to the anime style of The Witcher, there is a lot to
look forward to in the upcoming months.

To start, the long-awaited third season to the fantasy anime Re:Zero is set to release this
October. This anime explores the life of Subaru Natsuki, a high school student who ends up
being transported to another world while traveling home from a convenience store. Subaru and
his female partner end up murdered, but then wake up and have to relive the same day on a
continuous loop. This anime started in 2016 and the highly anticipated sequel is on the way!


Another exciting anime set to release is The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, a spin-off
based off the series The Witcher on Netflix. The story follows monster-hunter Geralt of Rivia as
he investigates various attacks on a seaside village. An ancient conflict arises, and Geralt must
prevent the vicious uprising between the kingdoms of humans and merfolk. This film will be
released on Netflix in either late 2024 or late 2025. No set date has been released.

Dragon Ball DAIMA, which is a new Dragon Ball anime series, is set to release in Fall of
2024, exploring the situation of Goku and the Z-Fighters being transformed into children by a
conspiracy, which leads them to travel to a new world full of action, mystery, and adventure. The

world is unfamiliar, making it a challenge for them to seek new ways to restore themselves back
to their adult forms.


These are only a few of the exciting shows set to release in the upcoming months, but
fans can expect thrilling content and a lot of action between these three alone.
