Alien: Isolation, the Popular Video Game, Getting a Sequel
The popular 2014 science-fiction game Alien: Isolation revolving around the popular Alien
franchise is finally getting a sequel over a decade later, with the original game director making a return.
The game is currently in early stages of development at Creative Assembly, though it’s possible we won’t
be hearing much on the game until much later.
The original cult survival horror game is wildly popular amongst horror fans, and with survival
games being trendy these days, this is the perfect time for the release of the sequel. The first game
contained anxiety-inducing terror and jump scares, so it’s no question the sequel will be much more
intense.
On top of the sequel’s potential 2026 release date, the original is getting a VR remaster to be
released in 2025, bringing a whole new level to horror, especially to virtual reality. Alien: Isolation is now
available to play on the Playstation 5 and X Box series X for those who want to get the full experience
now before the release of the sequel.
