Agatha All Along Official Trailer Reaction

‘Agatha All Along’ is the next Disney+ show releasing in September, following the trials and tribulations of the titultar witch after ‘WandaVision’. The show has a horror comedy vibe to it, and even hints at a musical. It’s this that aims to separate itself from the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe canon, and hopefully can continue revitalising the MCU after ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

Opening up, audiences get a quick recap of ‘WandaVision’ as a mysterious teen mocks her and asks her what happened. It quickly transitions out of this, into a musical-minded show, of Agatha seeking out the Witches’ Road, a treacherous gaunlet of challenges but will reward whoever travels down it.

Throughtout the trailer audiences get a taste of what’s instore, like a cameo from a green witch – very familiar to those who have seen ‘The Wizard of Oz’, and there’s even a zombie-like and devil-like being. It looks like audiences should expect common horror beings to inhabit this series, but they’ll likely take on a more humourous form in the MCU. It will have a spooky but comedic atmosphere, which makes sense for a Halloween with Disney.

Rio, one of the new witchy characters in the show, claims that the bodies are starting to pile up, likely in a moment towards the end of the show. Hopefully this means that there are going to be plenty of deats in the show, Agatha at one point hints at this disposability of her new coven when she says that all the witches need to do is get her to the end of the road.

There is the typical main character trope of a terrible secret coming out, which hopefully doesn’t overbear on the series as it would detract from its uniqueness. Audiences don’t have long to find out, as the first two episodes will release on September 18.
