Dragon Ball Daima Episode 16 Overview

Another week means another episode of Dragon Ball Daima to offer fans revelations and plot twists aplenty as the show nears its final set of episodes. This week’s episode focused on Goku and friends storming the demonic castle of Demon King Gomah as everything starts to fall apart around him. His closest advisor betrays Gomah by stealing the young Dende only to be found by Goku right before the traitor can get away. After a tense stand-off he is caught off guard and the young Namekian is returned to his friends, completing one of the biggest goals the Z-Fighters had ahead of them.

While Gomah is left by himself his fortune does turn. While Degesu was defeated one of his schemes had succeeded, with the third eye ending up in the hands of the throne room. Without Degesu there to claim it, it instead falls right into the hands of the Demon King. While things may be getting more serious the show still finds plenty of room for jokes with Gomah pulling out the entire toolshed to pry the eye out from the belt it’s locked into. Eventually, with the use of a plunger, he breaks it free and gets the eye implanted onto his forehead.

While Gomah’s new form is not shown in full, it’s gearing up to be the true final threat that fans had been hoping for. The next episode promises to raise the stakes even further, with this wacky adventure dipping its toes into the more serious tone that Dragon Ball Z was known for. The episode ends with Goku and friends meeting with the two new Majins for the first time, the last Dragon Ball in their hands. Plenty of fights lay ahead even with the short amount of time left. The glacial space has already started to melt, and it looks like things are starting to move fast.
