Caravan SandWitch Lets You Explore A Desert World While A Captavating Mystery Unfolds

Caravan SandWitch lets you explore an open world in a manageable way. You’ve come to find your sister and figure out how it may be connected to an ever present storm. There are some linear gameplay when NPCs are riding with you and inaccessible areas until you reach the right chapter. Otherwise you have free range on how you explore. There’s no combat and the worst consequence is being sent back to your garage.

The gameplay is more focused on being laid back. The narrative has a warmer, more optimistic, outlook on a post-apocalyptic world. While also showing the consequences of exploitation on an environment. You’ll meet some charming though long winded companions as you play. This is a game that makes you slow down to enjoy it.

Things can feel a bit off during platforming sections. Also, the dialogue box can be a little difficult to read when driving. As the terrain can become choppy and you can drive off cliffs. It can make longer sections feel a little chore-like. Thankfully this doesn’t occur often enough that it feels like a significant setback. The game does not have a complete free roam mode, so you will need to complete everything before the final mission. Or else you’ll need to reload the right save file.

Caravan SandWitch is not for those who need nonstop action. Its narrative does focus on the importance of taking care of yourself and others. You’ll be helping to save your abandoned home planet. And despite this being an open world game, the map is big without the need for fast travel points. So even if you’re usually put off by that term, you can still enjoy this game.
