Travel the Dune Sea with the new LEGO Star Wars UCS Jabba’s Sail Barge

LEGO has confirmed that their next LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) set will be Jabba’s Sail Barge, first seen in ‘Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi’.

The total piece count comes in at 3,942, and the set also comes with 11 minifigures –  Jabba the Hutt, Princess Leia ,Bib Fortuna, C-3PO, Max Rebo, Kithaba, Vizam, Wooof, Gamorrean Guard, Salacious Crumb and R2-D2. 

A buildable display stand is included in the set, as well as an information plaque, and a LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary Brick. 

The set comes with a detailed interior fans can access with folding sides, revealing rooms such as the cockpit, prison cell, armoury, kitchen and entertainment room equipped with Jabba’s bed. 

The set is 77cm in length, 25cm in height, and 25cm in width. 

Price wise, the total cost of the set is $499.99, €499.99 or £429.99, and will release on October 3 for LEGO Insiders and October 6 for the public. 

Between October 3 and 6, any purchases of the set will come with a LEGO version of Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber from ‘Return of the Jedi’ as a Gift With Purchase. 

Jabba’s Sail Barge, otherwise known as the Khetanna, first appeared in the 1983 film ‘Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi’, as the luxury sailcraft of slug-crime lord Jabba the Hutt. 

The set was rumoured to be the next UCS set for some time, with various leaks hinting at its existance.
