Hero Without a Class to Release in Fall
The upcoming anime Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?! is set to premiere in October 2025. Adapted from Shichio Kuzu’s light novel series, the story follows Arel, the son of legendary heroes, who, unlike his peers, receives no class or skills at the age of ten. Undeterred, Arel embarks on a journey of rigorous training and self-improvement, aiming to become a hero through sheer determination and hard work.
Studio A-Cat, known for works like The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army Was a Human, is producing the anime. The series is directed by Kaoru Yabana, with Chabo Higurashi handling series composition and scripts. Kento Asahina is composing the music, and Hiroto Morishita serves as the sound director. The voice cast includes Kensho Ono as Arel, Saori Hayami as Laina, and Sumire Uesaka as Lilia.
Hero Without a Class offers a fresh take on the fantasy genre by focusing on an underdog protagonist who defies societal norms. With its compelling narrative and strong production team, the series is poised to be a standout in the Fall 2025 anime lineup. Fans of character-driven stories and unconventional heroes should keep an eye out for its release.
