X-Men: 1990s Animated Series Creators Working On A Possible Revival Of The Hit TV Show!

Creators pushing for a revival of 90's cartoon series

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series’ creative team is aiming to approach Disney, which now holds the rights to the characters, about a continuation of the series. “The one thing we’d like to do more than anything else is to continue where we left off,” series producer and director Larry Houston said. That outlet reports the series’ aesthetic might change in the revival.

Running for five season between 1992 and 1997 on Fox Kids, X-Men: The Animated Series is often considered one of the best comic book-based cartoons ever. The show was one of the first major cartoons to deal with serialized storytelling, carrying arcs through multiple episodes.
