For Lifestyle Illustration ~ This assignment was really fun! We searched through magazines to find cool looking accessories and then drew into them to make new ads. I decided to do a sci-fi theme to imbue the products with a different vibe.
This is the first of three, a time traveler!

I recently heard Doctor Who is getting an New TARDIS console, and control room.
However once I researched further into this I was amazed!
Not sure what the control room looks like, but this picture that was released of the “new” console looks to me almost identical to the one used in the 80’s episodes.
Im not against changing things up at all. I just really liked the steampunk like feel of the previous control room, and console. I guess the Doctors going all 80’s retro on us!! :)

Nowadays everywhere you look science fiction is all around us which in my opinion is so incredibly cool!!!
Speaking of this I just stumbled upon this hilarious car commercial for the new Dodge dart.
Its loaded to the gills with science fiction concepts, including time travel, future tech, etc. It even stars actor Michael Dorn from Star Trek TNG!!

One of my all time personal favorite movies!! Ash played by actor Bruce Campbell time travels back to Medieval times from the 20th century.
Armed with only his shotgun aka (boomstick), a chainsaw, and his car filled with science books, and various other items. He and the locals gear up for an intense battle with the undead Army of darkness!!
An absolute hilarious film, chocked full of cliches and even geek humor. A piece of cool trivia about this classic early 90’s Horror film is there is more than one ending.
Upon watching the bootleg copy, which I own personally it is clear by viewing the
(alternate ending) that Ash, never makes it back to his own time. Instead he awakens to find he overslept, and the world lay in ruins. Either way such a fantastic movie and a must see!!!
