This is amazing!! The famous 60’s Batmobile #1 created by George Barris has sold for $4.62 million!! Now thats a serious chunk of change!

This iconic piece of tv history was ahead of its time, powered by atomic energy too!!

The original batmobile was constructed from a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car, and
was heavily modified, and retooled with all the gadgets, and a super cool paint job!!

This is one of my all time personal favorite television cars. I have always enjoyed all the cool gadgets, and futuristic technology that this car has, which a lot of today is now reality!! :)

Everyone check this out!! A brilliant man by the name of Patrick Priebe has created a
functioning replica of the wrist gauntlet worn by Tony Stark in the Marvel Comics film Iron Man.

This working model, has two onboard blue lasers powered by lithium ion cells, and has the ability to actually blast, and burn things such as balloons etc. This is one of the absolute coolest things I have ever seen!!

Enjoy!! :)

Everyone SciFiction proudly wishes Stan “The Man” Lee an HAPPY 90th BIRTHDAY!!!

As many of you know Stan Lee is the creator of such fantastic comic book heroes such as, Iron Man, Spiderman, X-Men, The Hulk, and many more!!

Me being a huge comic book geek. I have enjoyed these characters since childhood, and even till this day! The heroes Stan has created tell a story about right, and wrong, and about the struggles that even we deal with time to time.

My personal favorite series of the Marvel Comics universe are the X-men, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and Hulk.

I have posted a tribute above I think is cool. In this tribute it has a brief introduction by Stan himself, and shows a great many of the cameos that he has been in from films based on his characters.

Enjoy!! :)

For fans of the 2008 superhero film Iron Man, I recently found this amazing documentary!!

In this short documentary it goes in depth on the creation of the CGI elements to produce the Iron Man suits worn in the film by actor Robert Downey Jr. who portrays the character of Tony Stark.

We also learn insider knowledge about what went on during the motion capture tests, and other effects such as the HUD etc.

I really enjoyed this, and hope you do too!!

Enjoy!! :)

This is kind of a mock-teaser poster. I wanted to come up with a design that would work for a live-action Batman Beyond film. I envisioned him as a stealthy, agile, ninja-like assassin…minus the assassin part (Batman’s not a killer). I also imagined the suit looking very simple and black from far, but revealing a lot of fine details from close, and a lot of hidden technology. Be sure to download it on my deviantArt page (click on the pic!) to see the smaller stuff…enjoy!
