Little known piece of trivia. Once there were two great nations the US, and the Russians who had the technology known as “lasers”, and one young kid who happened to get ahold of a prototype from NASA which he reverse engineered three other lasers of his own. This brilliant young man ended up going to state, and eventually national science fairs, and later graduated top of his college class summa cum laude. Today he is one of the top experts in his field.

This is amazing!! The famous 60’s Batmobile #1 created by George Barris has sold for $4.62 million!! Now thats a serious chunk of change!

This iconic piece of tv history was ahead of its time, powered by atomic energy too!!

The original batmobile was constructed from a 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car, and
was heavily modified, and retooled with all the gadgets, and a super cool paint job!!

This is one of my all time personal favorite television cars. I have always enjoyed all the cool gadgets, and futuristic technology that this car has, which a lot of today is now reality!! :)

Everyone check this out!! A brilliant man by the name of Patrick Priebe has created a
functioning replica of the wrist gauntlet worn by Tony Stark in the Marvel Comics film Iron Man.

This working model, has two onboard blue lasers powered by lithium ion cells, and has the ability to actually blast, and burn things such as balloons etc. This is one of the absolute coolest things I have ever seen!!

Enjoy!! :)

Keyboard waffles anyone?

What’s better than eating a keyboard-shaped waffle for breakfast? Not much. Chris Dimino created this waffle iron from an old typewriter keyboard. The waffles come out of the iron in the shape of a keyboard, which is perfect for any breakfast-loving nerd.

Real Sonic Screwdriver
This is a fully functional electronic multi-tool modeled after the Sonic Screwdriver used in the hit series Dr. Who. This screwdriver is built using an Arduino Pro Mini to control it. Among the various features and functions that this device has are an EMF (electromagnetic field) meter, voltage detector, dog whistle, brown note tone generator, sound level meter, ohm meter, volt meter, and an IR universal remote. It can also serve as a laser pointer or a flashlight and of course there is several settings for making the LED pulse dramatically. The device can also be configured to have an electromagnet or output voltage supply if necessary.

Everyone I recently stumbled upon this incredible project!!

Back in 2011 an man named Huston Huddleston rescued the entire Enterprise D bridge, before it was to be completely destroyed. Huddleston and others have begun a full restoration of this iconic piece of science fiction history!!

His team ultimate intention is to make the bridge available free of charge to the general public, for students and kids to learn about science, and space exploration, and also available for charity foundations such as Make a wish foundation, Habitat for humanity, and others.

Unlike the original bridge that used backlit plexiglass displays for the computers, this full restoration will be a fully interactive bridge featuring touchscreen interfaces with functioning display consoles just like portrayed in the television series.

The bridge is also going to be set up where its a full simulator, where people can interact as if they were in the 24th century!!!

I personally think this is one of the coolest sci-fi projects, and endeavors I have ever seen!!!! I whole heartedly support this project, and urge you to help in any way you can!! Thanks! :)

Prophet Of Science Fiction is probably my new favorite show!!

In this episode it discusses the life and works, of Jules Verne the father of science fiction!!

It takes you from going to the moon, to flying in the sky, to plunging 20,000 leagues under the sea, and much more!

This intimate look into Jules life is very informative, and is full of movie clips, interviews, and special effects sequences!!

However me being a man of peace the part about the “Tazer” was a good bit disturbing, since that modern technology used to inflict pain on people was made a reality based on the electronic bullets in Jules novel 20,000 Leagues under the sea.

I was very fascinated to say the least about the water and hydrogen being used in cell engines as an alternative revolutionary modern day fuel/energy source!! That part alone reveals the superb technologies that can be developed via inspirations from science fiction!

Using pure water as an energy source is an incredible way in my opinion to restore our planet to acceptable living conditions, with a much healthier, and cleaner environment.

All in all this particular episode blew me away at how fun, and interesting it was to watch. I felt like a kid in a candy store!!!

Having said this in conclusion I totally recommend you check this out as well!!

Enjoy!! :)
