Was just recently introduced to this incredible science fiction artwork book!!! Its an A2 sized book, so it is quite large. 
It’s called Science Fiction Art - “The Fantasies of SF”, and it is compiled and introduced by Brian Aldiss, First President of the British Science Fiction Association; Ditmar Award 1969 for Best Contemporary Writer of Science Fiction.
 The book covers science fiction art from 1926 to the 1970’s.
Published in 1975 by New English Library. 
It has 115 illustrations in full color, plus 173 in black and white.

Recently stumbled upon this incredible clip. Haven’t seen this in years!!

This clip is taken from the computer animation odyssey The Gate To The Mind’s Eye.

For those of you, who haven’t seen this amazing film its out of this world cool!!
Thomas Dolby does music for the film. Even though the CGI animations, are dated this film is a test to the earlier animation styles of the 90’s, and how cool they still are!!

Everyone here is the new trailer for Oblivion!

The science fiction movie Oblivion is based off of the graphic novel of the same name
created by Joseph Kosinski.

In this new film we follow the character of Jack Harper played by actor (Tom Cruise)
who lives thousands of feet up in the sky, and patrols whats left of earth after decades of war against a race known as the Scavs.

Harpers job consists of repairing drones. These drones help gather information and resources. Jacks mission is almost completed when a spaceship crashes with an woman onboard. Once she arrives things seem to get very interesting to say the least!

The special effects in this movie look incredible, and from the trailer above I think its certaintly worth seeing!

Hey everyone,

Here is the new trailer for Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome the web series!!

Battlestar Galactica fans have only three days to wait until Universal Cable Productions’ long-awaited Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome series premieres on Machinima.

Blood & Chrome will begin airing online on November 9, and aired over the course of four weeks, with Syfy airing the series in 2013.

This new BSG series takes place in the 10th year of the first Cylon war, the upcoming series follows a young William Adama as he begins his first assignment aboard the Galactica.

I being huge into Battlestar can’t wait for this series to debut!! Looks to be such an incredible show from the trailer above!

Hello everyone,

I just found this amazing episode of an show called “Prophets Of Science Fiction.”

In this particular episode, it discusses the life, and writings of HG Wells, and has several interviews with people like Sir Ridley Scott who was responsible for such films as Alien, Bladerunner, and Prometheus, and also theoretical physicist Dr. Michio Kaku!

This show is absolutely incredible, and I highly recommend viewing it especially if you never have before!!

One of my all time personal favorite movies!! Ash played by actor Bruce Campbell time travels back to Medieval times from the 20th century.

Armed with only his shotgun aka (boomstick), a chainsaw, and his car filled with science books, and various other items. He and the locals gear up for an intense battle with the undead Army of darkness!!

An absolute hilarious film, chocked full of cliches and even geek humor. A piece of cool trivia about this classic early 90’s Horror film is there is more than one ending.

Upon watching the bootleg copy, which I own personally it is clear by viewing the
(alternate ending) that Ash, never makes it back to his own time. Instead he awakens to find he overslept, and the world lay in ruins. Either way such a fantastic movie and a must see!!!

I Recently watched the movie Equilibrium. This was one of the most interesting, and fun science fiction films I have watched in quite some time!!

The film takes place after the end of world war 3. In this dystopian vision of the future set in the city-state of Libria, all human emotion is banned, and controlled via drugging. By taking these daily injections of drugs all human emotion is fully suppressed. The end result is that all of Liberia’s people are completely free from any artistic expression which has been fully outlawed.

The earths general populous is maintained by a monolithic totalitarian police state. Libria’s government is lead by the Tetragrammaton Council. The council is led by the reclusive top dog known as “Father” played by actor (Sean Pertwee). Our hero John Preston a warrior-priest and enforcement officer played by Batmans (Christian Bale), ends up not taking his dose of the drug, and slowly awakens from his emotionless state, and realizes he has to stop taking the drugs based on his new found emotions.

Much like in real life where global society is also controlled by a group of corrupt, greedy, tyrant like individuals, and corporations here to societies inhabitants are made to be nothing more than mindless, emotionless drones. In this fictional future an underground “Resistance force” which is comprised of rebels who decided not to be drugged, and have emotions thus being the only survivors of the third world war that have there humanity more, or less intact decide to overthrow the government of Libria.

As our heroes journey continues he befriends the leader of the resistance group, and after they team up things get very interesting without spoiling the whole film.

The movie also has tons of Matrix-like martial arts moves, and very interesting camera, and special effects techniques to say the least. In conclusion I really enjoyed this movie big time, and highly recommend watching it!! Enjoy!! :-)
